![]() I played it as part of the Xbox Game Pass on my PC. ![]() I believe it is also available on the Switch however I’m not sure a point and click puzzle is as easy to navigate on a console. It’s sold on Steam for around $28 but I wouldn’t pay that much for this relatively small amount of content and I recommend you wait until it goes on sale. ![]() Overall it’s just really satisfying finding a place for everything, including the things that get packed into the wrong boxes. I generally don’t like to spend hours and hours on a game since I easily get bored while playing if it’s too challenging or not challenging enough (and believe me, I am forever in search of the perfect sweet spot!). It’s a quick game that took me only 2 sittings to complete. I believe this is to deliver a kind of cartoony look to the game and make it easier for the player to step into the mindset and mind of the invisible main character. The graphics are likewise totally cute and pixelated, nothing in high resolution. It consists of kind of a retro almost 8-bit sound and lots of guitar (and ukulele!) that gives it a kind of timeless feel, even though the dates are clearly articulated on each level. The soundtrack is totally relaxing and fits the cozy, low-stress vibes of the game by delivering a lo-fi atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the zen of unpacking trinkets or neatly folded underwear over and over again. The game doesn’t penalise you if you are a bit more sloppy, so long as t\objects go in the right places. There is also an option to do things that ‘lazy’ way, ie just slapping clothes in the cupboard or on hangers where they fit, or you could be totally picky about it an line everything up neatly. As someone who likes uniformity and actually sometimes enjoys putting things away neatly (except my mountain of washing tbh) this game really appealed to me!įrom trying to fit your belongings into the bachelor pad of the guy you’ve just moved in with, to discovering a walking cane and pain pills and realising the main character suffered from an injury that forced her to move back into her childhood home, this game is cute and cozy and even gets a little emotional at times! There are nice little touches like identifiable fridge magnets you keep seeing, the growing and evolving collection of gaming consoles, and as time goes on your beloved stuffed toy gets visibly older. Unpacking is a cute, relaxing, 2-D pixel-art puzzle game where the player discovers the story as they unpack belongings each time the invisible main character moves house. Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, you are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking. Unpacking is a zen puzzle game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. I needed to find a way to jury-rig a similar effect for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately, the asking price for that Trinnov processor is absurdly beyond my budget. The better solution is to install additional speakers in the center between the other height channels (Top Middle position). Those speakers are now fixed in place with wiring through the walls and ceiling, and I can’t move them without remodeling the room. This issue is compounded by the fact that the locations where I had installed speakers when I built the home theater (before immersive audio was a concern I gave any thought to) were less than ideal for Atmos. That, combined with a low ceiling, makes it difficult for just four speakers (two in the front of the room and two in the back) to image a sound above my head convincingly. ![]() My own home theater is a long room with a lot of space behind my seats. Nonetheless, for some of us, a limit of four height channels isn’t enough to fill the top of the room with sound. The movie is wall-to-wall full of the cartoon craziness that fans supposedly want to see, but its flair for the absurd doesn’t always sit well with the family-driven revenge plot that keeps the story tethered to the series’ roots. #JusticeForHan.Ĭars parachuting out of airplanes, people driving between Middle Eastern skyscrapers, The Rock flexing his way out of a cast, Kurt Russell slicking his hair all the way back… “Furious 7” truly has everything, and that proves to be way too much (the lifeless climactic firefight is long enough for the film to stall out seven times over). And this should go without saying, but Han and Gisele deserved better fates. Saddled with way too many lovable characters, screenwriter Chris Morgan deals with his self-created mess as best he can, but the movie never finds the spine it needs to connect all of its parts together (and the Shaw brothers sure ain’t the solution - it’s a good thing that the “Fast and Furious” movies don’t really rely on having strong villains, because yikes).Ī wildly uneven experience that skids between some of the saga’s best setpieces (tank on a highway!) and some of its worst (that endless runway sequence, which is made all the more exasperating by Lin’s decision to shoot it in the dead of night), “Fast and Furious 6” was the first indication that these films may not have quite enough horsepower to sustain the size of their new chassis. Revving up the franchise into full blockbuster mode, “Fast & Furious 6” explodes a colorful action series into a full-blown soap opera, complete with narratively convenient bouts of amnesia, dramatic character deaths, and so much family intrigue that it stretches into the end credits. ![]() Justin Lin was never going to top “Fast Five,” and it’s kind of a shame that he even tried. Also, it lets Dom call Brian “buster” again, which is just the most adorable thing. Refocusing the story on the tension between Brian and Dom, the grim and gritty “Fast and Furious” dutifully lays the groundwork for everything that’s come since, working much better as a prequel to “Fast Five” than it does as a sequel to the original (you can practically hear director Justin Lin switching the franchise’s gears, even if most of this installment is stuck in neutral).īut credit where it’s due: “Fast and Furious” has the good sense to recognize that cars are more fun to watch when you care about where they’re going. The most forgettable and confusingly titled chapter of Vin Diesel’s magnum opus (or of anything else, for that matter), the series’ fourth film takes such a hardboiled, back-to-basics approach that it effectively functions like a soft reboot. The sole factor of its effectiveness is the percentage of time you can have this trinket active while dpsing compared to the total amount of dpsing time you have. The ToEP behaves much the same, the numbers are just slightly different. the maximum bonus is +112.5 spell damage (900 total damage over 8 casts). The "average bonus" is the "% of time active" times the maximum bonus from the trinket. "time cooling down" is the amount of time that you're still in combat and the trinket is cooling down. The effectiveness of the trinket depends on the percentage of dpsing time that you can have this trinket active. in pve its good where you absolutely need burst dps or the fights are less than a minute. its uber for pvp because you can pop it right before a fight, have it last for most of the battle, and then have most of the cooldown pass before you get in another fight. if you're in combat while its on cooldown you're losing effectiveness. while the trinket is cooling down you're getting no bonus from it. which ofc would make it an even better option than the ToEP.Ĭomment by Thottbotthe ZHC is best in short fights. It could also be argued that you could probably have the ZHC timer up every encounter in a 40 man raid instance as well. If however you do enjoy pvp and macro abuse and 5 man raiding then this is the trinket for you. So if your not into PvP id wouldn't bust a gut trying to get the ZHC if you already have the ToEP. Total of 875 bonus damage applied, but because of the faster cooldown expect to use this every 6.5 times per 10 mins. The ToEP will only get you a max of 5 spells with a fixed bonus of 175 each time You will get to use this trinket 5 times per 10 minutes. Expect to cast roughly 6 Fireballs before it runs out with the following bonuses: The ZHC will grant you far more bonus damage than the ToEP, but it's reuse timer is 30 secs longer. Using the numbers for total damage bonus per use times by the amount used every 10 mins for example you can see exactly how close these really are. I'd pick the ZHC no question if doing pvp, but over time time ToEP does more or les keep up if you look at the total returns vs time. Is there anything missing? I am still not quite confident about this result.Ĭomment by ThottbotThe total damage output is quite close when comparing ToEP and ZHC. So I conclude that: For hunters, Hero Charm > Hermo Medallion. However even I crit every shot (which is not likely to happen), I can get at most +660 dmg which is still weaker than the heart. Some people told me it is base damage so I have to apply talents on it. If I am using the Zandalarian Hero Medallion, with my Grand Marshal's Repeater, I can shot at most 2 multi-shot + 4 arcane shot (6 sec used) and 14(sec)/2.52(sec-weapon speed)=5 shots. I would hope this is something Blizzard would fix.Ĭomment by ThottbotI've got Hakkar's Heart.Īfter some careful investigation, I figured that this trinket is better than the damage one(Zandalarian Hero Medallion) for hunters. Granted, you shouldn't be wanding when you have this active, but I was testing all sorts of things out with this trinket and found that wanding does effect this. So the extra damage/healing gets reduced quickly if you decide to wand with this buff. If you have this active and you use your wand, it counts it as casting a spell. Didn't have a Greater Arcane Elixir active at the time, unfortunately. My best mind blast was for 2030 (with warlock debuff). When I have this and Blessed Prayer Beads equipped, I have broken the 5k mark on a Greater heal crit. It also makes easy solo fights like Lord Incendius even easier. Since I got this trinket, I can easily solo 2 snakes at a time in ZG by pulling two, killing one, zoning out, and zoning back in to kill another. I am a shadow priest, and I spend a lot of time farming and soloing stuff. Comment by ThottbotI got this item a week ago, and I absolutely love it. |
